Spike was a former mechanic and ally of Atlas.
Character History
Spike was a mechanic and former servant of Atlas. He was in charge of equipping weapons and other tools onto Atlas so that he was always battle-ready. Atlas was afraid of losing him because he heavily relied upon Spike to equip all his weapons for battle, as Atlas himself did not know how to equip himself. Nonetheless though, Atlas never truly valued or respected Spike and always treated him badly, verbally abusing him all the time. Spike kept Atlas running until Robin convinced him that Atlas was only using him. Spike accepted that Atlas was unbearable and left with the Titans after Atlas was defeated by Cyborg. Spike's current whereabouts are unknown.
